Getting closer.

Drawing nearer to the due date, things have begun to come together and really sink in. Elos belly is beautifully round. We've slowly been aquiring the neccessary tools and protective equiptment for dealing with the arrival of the new member of the family.

We had a check up this week, and everything seems to be going well. Eloneeds to begin relaxing and resting a little more. So I'm trying to make life as easy as possible for her. But because she's an active, energetic person it's sometimes hard for her to just sit down and relax. But once she does lie on the couch, it's only a matter of minutes before she nods off. However she does still enjoy those pregnancy symptoms, namely heart burn and cramps. Lucky girl.

We've put the finishing touches on the room for the baby. Wallpaper. Other than that there hasn't been a lot of progress on the rest of the house. So here are a few photos of the progress.

First door I've ever hung. And it's really as hard as they say.

When it doesn't work, just tap it a few times with the hammer, that'll fix it!

These are part of our baby care equiptment. Re-painted by the future mum and dad.

Quack!

Finished. There are a few parts that we couldn't(be bothered) cover. But all in all we're happy with the result. It sure looks better than grey plast board.

I finally have a wall that I can put the dart board on. (Grey box) So now I can play darts while preparing dinner. Great fun.

Other than that, not a lot has changed.
The connection to the sewage is still a work in progress, so the 'Shit- Destroyer' is still in business.

We've wound our clocks back to try to get as much value out of the little sunshine we have now. So waking up in the dark and coming home from work in the dark are back in fashion. Yay.
