May - photos

Not sure what they're doing in the garden with dressing gowns and gumboots, but the photo looks nice.

Grandma Liz came to visit at the end of May. She brought the good weather with her. So picnics were the order of the day.
It was time for the class to sing for the parents. They'd been practicing several songs and he was really proud to sing in front of everyone.

There was a gathering of sporting associations not too far from the house, where people could try different activities. Climbing.
Jumping castle was more just entertainment for the kids, but a big success anyway.
the "Sarbacane" if the French term for a blow gun. It was my first attempt, blowing long pins with a plastic cone at the end through the tube into a target. Not as easy as it might seem.

A sort of blind football. The balls had bells inside so you could hear it coming, sometimes.

Balancing skills

Pony rides.

Another day we went to a car boot sale and we saw a pedal car rally/race. They had so many different themes it was so funny.

A trip to the natrual history museaum in Nantes. The kids loved seeing all the animals.
