Week end copine

The two boys got on very well. There were a few kicks to the head, a few bites and a fair bit of dribbling, but I think they had a good time.

kicking Raphaël, or Raphaël biting?

Bath time.

Cuddles with mum are always nice. It was good to spend some quiet time with the boy and some friends.

Looks like he just pushed his mate out of the way to get to the last bottle?

or maybe just his favourite book.

We even enjoyed a game of football with Cyril.

Thanks to everyone there that weekend, we had a very enjoyable time.

Tonton Parrain's Birthday

Surprise! After quite a bit of effort and lots of organisation, the surprise finally came. The family had arranged for all of David's friends from various parts of the country to come together and celebrate his 30th birthday.

There was a little scare the day before when David wanted to borrow a car, and we were all worried that he might decide to drive to the coast early and spoil the event. So we all refused to lend him a car and offered to taxi him around instead, which he polity refused.

The weather was perfect and everyone had an amazing time outside under the sun enjoying a cold drink.

Uncle David spent a bit of time together.

Robert and I had set up two marquees the day before, either for shade or rain protection. In the end it was for both. There aren't any photos of the incredible thunder storm from Saturday night, because Elo couldn't push the button on the camera fast enough to catch the lightning!

Mum, Dad and a worried looking little boy.

The beautiful Mum and still concerned little boy.

We organised a little sketch for David. Made ourselves look rather silly but everyone had a good laugh.

David got up to sing a number at the end.

Then it was cake time.

He was happy chillin' out with family.

But mum was never far away.

Then evening saw some rather more risqué sketches.

And yours truly joined in again with tiny fake boobs and awful hair.

Fun life

It's hard work being a baby. Someone to wash you, feed you, carry you around, give you any toy you scream laud enough for and rock you to sleep if you need it.
No wonder I'm so happy.

I can't say shopping is my favourite avtivity, but playing with the bags is a whole lot of fun.

Teeth.

Here's the band. Liam, our boy and Lilu

The love birds. He was very impressed with Lilu.

Showing off my teeth.

Cheesy grin!

My first injury

It's inevitable that a young man hurts himself at some stage in his life. Either falling over, stubbing his toe, falling off his bicycle, falling out of a tree, squashing finger in a car door, etc.
or, bumping his head on his play pen. Which left a nice mark on my nose.

Rudolph???
