End of the trip

with Grandma.

After Christmas we went down to the south coast. It was time to enjoy some Australian sun and sand. And that we did. The weather was delightful, hot and sunny.

Wallaga Lake, South Coast.

At the caravan park where we stayed, there was a giant inflatable jumping cushion. It was so much fun, and I had a good time too. I got a few rather funny looks from other parents, as letting a one year old be bounced around uncontrollably in every direction on a jumping cushion while you laugh your bum off trying to catch him wasn't exactly ideal parenting in their opinion. Go jump.

Elo got her feet a little wet, but it was the only way into Nadgee National park.

We found a beautiful secluded beach at the end of our walk.

Crystal clear water, just looking at the photo makes me miss Australian beaches.

A goanna, very well spotted by Elo

Our wonderfully luxurious Hotel in Seoul. The Hyatt. Wow

Toilet with options. Loved the seat warmer.

The Kids waiting area in Seoul airport wasn't bad either.

Australian Christmas

Elo and I thought while we were in Australia it would be a great moment to try and get some family photos taken. So with mums help, we organised a photoragher to take some shots. We're rather happy with the result.

Kosciuzko

So after a short stay in QLD with Dad and Joanne, we headed south. More flying for our overly tired young lad, but he managed vey well. We spent a day catching up with family(pictures to come) then we decided to visit the snowy mountians before Christmas. So we repacked the suitcases, baby gear and jumped in the car for the short trip to Thredbo. It had been a very long time since I'd been and the first for them.
It had just been very cold over the previous few days, so up the top of the range there was quite a bit of snow.

usually loves the baby carrier, but for these shots, I think he was concerned about being so high above the ground. The chair-lift seemed to worry him a little. But he soon warmed to the experince and cracked a smile.

The chair-lift up to the Kosciuzko walking trail.

One of the many creeks flowing down the mountain.

Mr should have brought a thicker jumper!

The path was covered in some parts.

A mountian lake

Mum's turn to lug me up the mountian.

A family snap.

A high altitude nappy change. Lovin' it.

All snug as a bug.

Picnic.

Followed by a little nap.

And here we have a burnt little man after his parents weren't vigilant enough with the sunblock. A reminder to mum and dad that even when it's cold, the sun can still burn. Luckily no permanent damage occured, and he's been checked out by the opthamologist.
