Start of holidays

Australia was calling, so we answered. It had been approaching two years since we'd been back. A lot had happened in two years. If you've been following our blog with any regularity then you've probably seen most of it. Three wedding and three babies. Anyway, after three Christmases away from 'home', we were due to come back for that special time of year. Elo and I had done it several times before, but this was to be our first mission with a one year old. It looked long on paper, so I was dreading actually being 11 hours into the trip with at least 11 more ahead. In total, we had 37 hours of travelling from our house to Dad's. Not bad. However as usual, Elo managed to take photos of all the moments that paint a rosy picture of the voyage.

Having fun on the train.

Snug as a bug

Checking out the garden with Grandad.

It was a novelty for the boy to be without clothes, so he really took advantage.

"You've got something in your nose Grandad''

We went to the Australian Zoo...

Check out that bird.

Up close with a roo.

The three boys.

Brolga.

Sneeky Wombats

Tawny Frogmouths

Having a great time unwrapping presents.

Harley men.

Our beautiful christmas table.

What a feast.

Trifle.

The Pavlova

Straight from the set of Baywatch.

I'm coming to save 'YOU'

All smiles

Not sure what mum and dad are doing?

I'm putting this on my Christmas list for next year!

finalement le voyage France-Australie a eu l´air d´être plutôt tranquille pour un petit bout de 1 an! Les parents ont pas l´air d´avoir été traumatisé en tout cas ;)
