Beautiful weather, kids in a good mood, didn't start the day as early as planned so I was worried about finding a place to park. This aspect however, was very well organized by the city. We found a place within 2 minutes of arriving in Guérande,
ate our pinic by the car, then caught the mini train into the old town center.
All aboard!.
Around the walled part of the city, there were a lot of activites, games, street theatre and so on.
This was a Knight competition. They were fighting to win the Princess' hand.
The kids enjoyed the show.
By the end of the day, mum had the urge to go to the beach. Mainly in order to avoid the traffic going back from the coast towards Nantes. So we found a nice quiet beach near La Turballe. The kids had a really good time, dad slept a little on the beach, then it was really time to get home.
I think the smiles say it all.
